As part of the year-round social welfare activities, Bangladesh Police Women Welfare Association (PUNAK) has started distribution of Iftar among the helpless and poor people from Tuesday.
PUNAK President Dr Tayyaba Musarrat Jahan Chowdhury and other leaders distributed Iftar items to 100 helpless, poor and street people.
PUNAK members like every year have been providing financial support to the organization and started distribution of Iftar among the poor people at different places of the capital. The iftar distribution programme will be continued before Eidt-ul-Fitr.
Apart from this, the PUNAK distributed blankets and foods among poor and helpless people and held health camps across the country.
