The 45th Science and Technology Fair has been inaugurated in Satkhira Sadar Upazila with the slogan "Prosperity in Science and Technology Innovation".

Satkhira Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Sarwar Hossain inaugurated the 2-day science fair on Tuesday by blowing bells and festoons at Satkhira Government High School grounds. 

The fair is organized by the Upazila Administration under the supervision of the National Science and Technology Museum and sponsored by the Ministry of National Science and Technology.

The inaugural function was addressed by Satkhira Sadar Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Sumna Irene, Headmaster of Satkhira Government High School Md  Aminul Islam Tuku, Sadar Upazila Project Implementation Officer with Satkhira Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Md. Shamim Bhuiyan in the chair.

This year 15 educational institutions of the upazila are participating in the fair.
