Senior BNP leaders, including Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, break their fast with the foreign diplomats based in Dhaka.
The party hosted the iftar event at The Westin Dhaka in the capital on Sunday where different countries' diplomats, including ones from the US, UK, India, Pakistan, and China, attended.
The diplomats of the United Nations' (UN) various organizations and the European Union (EU) also took part in the party.
On behalf of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tareque Rahman, Mirza Fakhrul welcomed them.
In the program, the BNP secretary general called upon the international community to stop the Israeli 'massacre' in Palestine and demanded a 'two-state policy' for a permanent solution to the Palestine issue.
