BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council Member Zainul Abedin Farroque on Friday alleged that the government is trying to finalize their seat by sighning memorandum of understanding (MoU) with India.

The BNP leader was speaking at a demonstration programme organized by Projonmo Bangladesh, in front of the Jatiya Press Club.

He said the treaty with India will soon be canceled; otherwise the people of the country will not forgive you.

In the protest against the “illegitimate government's illegal agreement with India”, Farroque strongly opposed the Indian government's plan to develop a network of railway tracks through Bangladesh to connect the northeast region with the rest of India.

Farroque also urged the BNP to announce more rigorous programmes to engage people in a movement against these arbitrary agreements with India.

This leader in the end said that the people of the country are clamorous about India issue.

This government can't prosecute Felani’s murder can only jail people who fight for democracy, he added.
