Advocate Shamsul Huq Tuku, a member of parliament (MP) from Pabna-1 constituency, today reelected as the Deputy Speaker of the 12th Jatiya Sangsad unanimously.

The nomination was unanimously passed by voice votes in the House with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.

Ruling party lawmaker Capt. (retd) AB Tajul Islam constituency -248 of Brahmanbaria-6 raised the nomination proposal at the House and then it was supported by Mokbul Hossain of Pabna-3 constituency.
