A total of 330 members of Myanmar forces and other officials, who crossed the border and took shelter in Bangladesh amid the conflict going on in Myanmar, will be sent back to their country today.
The officials will be handed over to concerned authorities of Myanmar at 8 am through the Naval Jetty Ghat in Inani of Cox's Bazar, said a release signed by Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) public relations officer Shariful Islam.
They will return to their country by a ship, he said.
The Myanmar officials started fleeing to Bangladesh since February 4 as heavy fighting continued in Myanmar between the junta forces and rebel group Arakan Army.
