2.43 Kilogram gold recovered in Ctg

The Customs officials have recovered around 2.43 kilograms of gold ornaments at Shah Amanat International Airport on Saturday.

A team of the customs intelligence officials, acting on a tip-off, with the help of National Security Intelligence (NSI) conducted a joint drive and recovered the ornaments from under a seat of Air Arabia flight which came from Sharza in the Saturday morning.

Legal action will be taken over the recovery, the source added.

The gold will be deposited to the government treasury.
